As abolitionists we are constantly asking—>How do we build the world we wish to live in with the tools, relationships and wisdom we already have? Want to learn how to become a great recycler? Build beautiful things from what the earth offers & what we as humans have left behind? Consistent with the principles of abolition, we are hosting a post-Mardi Gras workshop with  organized around transformation, alchemy and possibility.

Come learn practical skills to build a structure with natural and reclaimed materials! We will be creating a sanctuary of wonder and protection nestled within our sister garden at 1651 N Robertson Street using cob  (clay, sand, and natural fiber), trees trunks and branches, and found materials from the surrounding community. This is an opportunity to empower yourself to create functional art that defies conventions and inspires others to do the same.

If you are interested in the workshops please mention the days you can attend in comments. We want to gauge participation before we fine tune our offerings.

Sliding scale offering $0-$50 per day, no one turned around for lack of funds. All ages.
