Francis Bauer Harris

Francis’ is growing his Solitary Garden from Greene State Correctional in Pennsylvania. His gardens have been dedicated to healing and he asked us to grow foods to be given to the families of victims of crime. We were able to grow 2-gardens thus far in collaboration with Francis, but failed to make his Bay Leaf tree a reality this summer. In its place we grew watermelon (orangelo variety) which fed and satisfied many volunteers at the Andry Street location.
